Our Rigorous Testing Includes

  • Coating Adhesion – which tests how strong the hard coat adheres to the raw material.
  • Bayer Testing – which determines the abrasion resistance of a surface.
  • CHOCA – which tests the coating adhesion of our coatings by exposing them to cycles of heat and humidity.
  • Thermal Shock – which tests the anti-reflection coating by subjecting the lenses to rapid changes in temperatures.
  • Salt Water Boil – which tests the adhesion, crazing and delamination of an anti-reflection coating layer in salt water.
  • Life Time Properties – which simulates the regular rate of cleaning along 2 years and measures the anti-reflective properties afterwards.
  • Contact Angle – evaluates the hydrophobic and oleophobic properties of an anti-reflective coating.
  • QUV – which replicates environmental conditions by artificially simulating exposure to naturally occurring sunlight, temperature, and humidity.
