Browsing our Website
When someone visits optimumcoatings.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. Joining our Mailing List
As part of the registration process for our mailing list, we collect personal information. We use a third party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter and store all personal information. Using Online Ordering
When taking online orders, we collect information for the purpose of lens and frame ordering. This is passed on to the lab and kept on the site for 62 days before being deleted. We also store account details for the ordering customer, these will all be businesses information.
Making an Appointment and ABDO Case 51 Booking
As part of the booking process for an appointment or an ABDO Case 51 booking, we collect personal information. We only collect the necessary information to complete your booking, confirm your identity and to contact you to provide additional information regarding your booking or appointment. We do not add any of this information to marketing lists without your prior consent and we never pass on any of this information to any other organisations and businesses.
Taking a Survey and Quiz
From time to time, Optimum will run an online survey or quiz. Whilst we collect responses to improve our services, all personal data is anonymous with an option to provide personal or company information at the end of the survey or quiz. Sometimes we might offer incentives for completing surveys or quizzes that require personal information so we can deliver the incentive after completion. We will only retain this data until the survey or quiz is over and incentives and have been delivered.

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.
